Description	Registers: Baptisms 1853-1984, Marriages 1857-1981. Baptisms 1938-2000 and Marriages 1925-1999 at St. Matthew's, Saltney Ferry. Records other than registers 1853-1977.
Administrative History	Opened in 1854 as a parish church serving Marlston cum Lache in Cheshire, and Saltney in the county of Flintshire (formerly in Chester St. Mary-on-the-Hill and Hawarden parishes). The dedication was changed from Holy Epiphany to St. Mark when a new church was built in 1893. The chapel of St. Matthew, Saltney Ferry, opened in 1911 and closed in 2000.
